Chenille embroidery is a type of weaving technique known for its soft and fluffy texture. It’s also called raised embroidery, looped embroidery, or chenille patches.Chenille embroidery is commonly used in sportswear, collegiate apparel, and academic products. In recent years, it has become widely applied across various types of clothing and garment manufacturing.

When the client provides the front and back fabric panels of a garment,We embroidered the artwork on the fabric pieces directly. This technique is known as “panel embroidery.”

The soft and fluffy texture of chenille embroidery is most commonly used in animal-themed designs.In addition to creating a three-dimensional effect, it offers a thick, durable hand feel—but it also comes with a higher production cost.Chenille patches are typically backed with felt to enhance the raised texture, while finer details are finished with embroidery threads.The edges of the patch are often laser-cut for precision, though embroidered borders are also an available option.
